The pieces, and the manual
This site holds a lot: more than a hundred pages of free help, seven article series, and a handful of reports and services. Each piece was built to solve one problem. Until now, nothing told a visitor which piece was for theirs.
This page is the instruction manual. Find the line that sounds like your situation. Under it is the free reading that explains it, and the report or service that does the part most owners cannot do by hand.
You do not have to buy anything to use this page. Most of what is here costs nothing.
“I think my website was hacked”
Signs: the site redirects somewhere else, Google shows a warning, there are pages in search results you never wrote, or there is an admin user you do not recognize.
Read first, free:
- How to tell if your WordPress site has already been hacked
- Emergency Authority — it is happening now, and how to stop it without making it worse.
- Invasion Investigation — the fire is out, and how to find out what actually happened.
When you need more than reading: your server kept a record of everyone who came and what they asked for. Most owners do not know that file exists. ProVAE reads it. A Recovery Review is a paid, fixed-scope assessment of what is on the server and what Google is holding. Website recovery and investigation is the full job, taken on in small numbers.
“It is cleaned up, and I want it to stay that way”
Read, free: Site Hardening, ten parts, from the accounts that outrank your server down to reading your logs every day. It is written from one real seventeen-month compromise, mistakes included.
“The site is clean, but Google still shows the damage”
Signs: spam pages still listed under your domain, your own pages missing, rankings not where they were.
Read, free: Ranking Recovery, ten parts on getting the spam out of the index, your real pages back in, and why it runs on Google’s clock and not yours.
“Nobody can find my business on Google”
Start here, free: the Free Visibility Snapshot. It is a short analysis of what Google sees on your site today. It tells you whether there is a problem worth solving. It does not include the fixes, and it is not an audit.
Read, free:
- Why isn’t my website ranking on Google?
- Local SEO basics, and how the Google Business Profile fits in
- The full set of SEO questions and answers
“I want to fix it myself”
Read, free: Is SEO free? What you can do without paying anyone.
The report for this: the DIY SEO Audit. It is a written examination of your own site with the fixes set out in the order to do them. You do the work, at your own pace. Priced from $275 to $527 depending on the size of the site.
“I am paying for SEO and I am not sure what I am getting”
Read, free:
- SEO Costs — ten parts on what SEO really costs, what a monthly fee buys in hours, and whether it is worth it.
- Is your SEO company inflating your website traffic?
- How to tell honest SEO work from the other kind
- What Nobody Tells You About SEO — reading a report, finding honest help, and the long middle nobody warns you about.
When you want it checked: your server log is the one record your SEO company did not prepare. ProVAE reads those too; ask about a log reading.
“I need a website, or mine needs rebuilding”
Read, free: What Nobody Tells You Before You Build a Website — what it costs, how long it takes, how to choose a platform, and when to rebuild and when to repair.
The service for this: WordPress website services, built without the plugins that cause most of the trouble, with the structure planned before the design.
“I want someone to tell me what matters most”
The report for this: the Strategic Consultant Audit. It adds your competitors and a longer plan, and it tells you what to do first and what to leave alone. Priced from $550 to $1,500. It is strategy only; carrying it out is separate.
If you are unsure which report fits, the three are compared side by side.

What to have ready when you ask
None of these reports needs a login to your website or your hosting. What they need is small.
- For the Free Visibility Snapshot and the audits: your website address, your main service, the area you serve, and a link to your Google Business Profile if you have one.
- For a log reading: the raw access log files from your hosting control panel. Download them now even if you are not ready to ask. Many hosts keep only a few weeks.
How the pieces fit
The articles teach the method and hold nothing back. An owner with time can follow them without paying for anything.
The reports exist for the steps that are hard to do by hand. Nobody reads eighty thousand lines of a server log for pleasure, and nobody can see their own site the way a search engine does without tools. A report is that step done for you: files in, a written finding out, a fixed scope.
ProVAE sells reports, not monthly retainers. Several pages on this site tell you when not to buy anything at all, and they mean it.
If you only do one thing after reading this page, find out where the site stands. The Free Visibility Snapshot shows what Google sees on your site today, and everything else on this page makes more sense once you know that.
